Tasty food
All the food was very tasty. We ate octopus and it was excellent. And the seafood paella was one of the best I have ever eaten. The only bad thing was the women's restroom; you had to go up a spiral staircase. But a good place to eat.

Totally recommended.

A walker
After a day of walking, or just a festive visit to Cudillero, don't miss eating at Casa Isabel. Note: as an "expert" on rice dishes, Isabel's rice pudding is not like the ones made in the south of Spain, but my travel companion who is Asturian rated it a 5.

Cudillero ist ein schmuckes Dorf, das an die steile Küsten eingebettet ist. Sehr schön und authentisch. Das Restaurant ist an bester Lage. Das Essen auf den Tischen sah sehr gut aus, weshalb wir uns entschlossen haben, dort Mittag zu essen. Wir bestellten Jacobsmuscheln, Croquetas und Aroz negro. Alles war sehr frisch und super lecker. Súper recomendable. El lugar no puede estar más cuidado en cuanto a limpieza y detalles. Sencillo pero decorado con máximo mimo. Un ambiente fresco y acogedor al mismo tiempo. Las vistas desde su segunda planta, impresionantes. Cudillero y el puerto a todo color. La comida de 10, todo delicioso y muy rápidos. Nos llamó la atención la cercanía de la dueña, no solo con los clientes sino con los trabajadores. El buen ambiente de trabajo era palpable y eso, como cliente, se agradece. Íbamos de paso por el pueblo y no pudimos visitarlo. Sin duda repetiremos cuando volvamos a descubrir Cudillero en profundidad. Restaurant Isabel is a fantastic dining establishment in the centre of Cudillero affording beautiful views of the village. We dined here twice during our weekend visit and loved very dish. The staff are very attentive and provide a professional service. The quality of the dishes is of the highest quality and absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend you stop here and let your tastebuds enjoy all the restaurant has to offer. The octopus, mussels and scallops were fantastic. Well done - keep up the good work!
